Anybody ooooouuut theeeeeere????
I can hear my words echoing… “theere… theere… theere…”
There seems to be no life around here.
Who’s to blame? Me, off course.
Why have I’ve been neglecting my Blog for so long?
Can’t let the excuse of having a baby in ‘da’house’ get me out of this one.
I could have been and, I should have been blogging.
Well, here I am. Once again. Blogging.
I was lucky to be inspired by a very humble yet extra-ordinary crowd at the 2014 ProBlogger Event. The guy behind ProBlogger, Darren Rose , is someone who has been changing the world for better for many years. Darren has been at the forefront of the global blogging community since 2002. He is a true example of a change maker and he is such a humble man.
If you have a chance to attend a future ProBlogger Event, do it! You’ll be blown away by this incredible community.
I attended the event because I wanted a kick in the butt as well as to feel inspired to start blogging again.
I also wanted to learn more about blogging for business and, like I usually do when attempting to learn about a subject, I go after the main sources of knowledge in the industry or the true authorities in that particular field. No better place to be if blogging is what you want to learn.
I found myself speaking to many attendees and speakers at the event. When questioned about what lead me there, my mind kept taking me back to the 30 day experiments I used to do in 2011/12 . It’s amazing to realise how those simple experiments on entrepreneurship and living life on purpose had created so many opportunities for me in such a short period of time.
I could not help but wonder: “what if I did it again?”
Since I’ve been very busy, I though about 40 days this time. But let’s be honest, 40 days is plain stupid. I was listening to an interview with Darren and found out about an eBook he’s published called “31 days to build a better Blog” (Click here to visit ProBlogger.) and 31 days sounded about right. Furthermore, “31 days to build a better Blog” sounded like a perfect way to start too.
31 days to revive a dead Blog
I am kicking starting another series of projects.
I choose to start by dedicating the first 31 days to revive my dead Blog.
How am I going to do this?
It is very simple.
For the next 31 days I’ll be following a ’31 day plan’ from a blogging expert to improve my Blog.
Each day, I’ll learn and apply ‘Master Rose’ strategies published on his book “31 days to build a better Blog” (Click here to visit ProBlogger. and learn more about the book).
But I won’t stop there. I’ll also be sharing what I learn on this Blog.
Furthermore, at the end of the 31 days, I’ll be publishing a very detailed report about the whole experience. Including my tips to “habit forming hacks”, challenges I faced as well as what worked and what didn’t.
If you are keen to learn about Reviving Dead Blogs subscribe bellow and receive my weekly insights, insider’s “habit forming hacks” as well as a copy of my “Revive your Blog Report” with detail information on how to bring a Blog back from the death (email to you after the 31 days).
See you tomorrow,
Ps. 1: If anyone is reading this, say hello… It feels lonely down here. 🙂
Ps. 2: If you are in a similar position (neglecting your website/blog), join me and let’s bring it back from the dead!
